Welcome to Dusty Boots Photography!

I'm Katie and I was born and raised on my families dairy farm in Plymouth, WI. I grew up in 4-H where my favorite projects were dairy and photography. I also loved playing volleyball through out high school, college and after.

I always wanted the latest and greatest camera to use for my 4-H photography projects and was always taking pictures of anything that caught my eye. After returning to the farm once I graduated college, I began using my smart phone to capture the beauty of the country life. Soon, Dusty Boots Photography was born. I purchased my first DSLR camera and began spending countless hours reading, studying, researching and practicing to add on to what I already knew and what came to me naturally. What started out as a passion to capture and share the beautiful visions I experienced just working in my 'Dusty Boots' on the farm, quickly turned into a passion for capturing the special moments in other people's live

My #1 objective is to work with you so you don't feel like I am just working for you, so when you view your pictures, they are better than you imagined them to be! I strive to give you the greatest experience possible that is fun and stress free so you can be yourself in every picture! I love to try new things and shoot at new places; anything to capture you in your element!

A highlight in my photography career was being featured in the Progressive Dairyman magazine as their Featured Farm Photographer! Check out my story here! I was also honored with the Friend of the Fairest award at the 2022 Sheboygan County Fairest of the Fair gala by 2021 Sheboygan County Fairest, Paige Bruggink!
